44th Archives Week Celebration from Sept 15

Imphal, September 12 2026: The Manipur State Archives under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur, will organise the 44th Archives Week Celebration and Records Exhibition-2026 from September 15 to 19 at the Manipur State Archives Complex, Keishampat.

In a press release, Director of Art and Culture K Dinamani Singh informed that the inaugural function will be held at 11 am on September 15 at the Archives Complex with Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh as chief guest.

Art and Culture and Tourism Minister Khuraijam Loken Singh will preside over the function while Secretary, Art and Culture, Naorem Praveen Singh will attend as guest of honour.

As part of the celebration, the new Stack Room Building of the Manipur State Archives will be inaugurated by the chief guest.

A Records Exhibition showcasing the rich history and heritage of Manipur will also be opened to the public.

The Director appealed to people to participate and make the programme a grand success.
