Senapati, September 12 2025: Mount Everest College, Senapati, held its Fresher's Meet 2025 under the theme "Together We Write Tomorrow" at the college auditorium.

The event was jointly organised by the Cultural Committee, Music Club, Department of Botany, Department of Zoology, and the Department of Physics (second, third and fourth year students) .

Dr L Angshim Dangshawa, Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong district, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

In his welcome address, Gomei Meithuanglungpou, Vice Principal of the College encouraged students to seize every opportunity that college life presents.

He urged them to cultivate strong values, build leadership qualities, and strive to live a righteous and purposeful life.

Addressing the students, the chief guest Angshim Dangshawa spoke about the importance of working smarter in academics.

Sharing his experiences preparing for Civil Services, he emphasized the need for perseverance, discipline, and faith in one's dreams.

He highlighted three key principles for success - dreaming with purpose, working hard with principles, and seeking God's blessings.

He advised students not to give up in the face of challenges, reminding them that regret is far more peaceful than failure.

The programme also featured cultural performances showcasing the diversity of different communities across the country.

As part of the celebrations, Mr and Miss Freshers 2025 was also crowned, adding vibrancy to the event.
