Imphal, August 12 2025:
In celebration of International Youth Day, Assam Rifles conducted a meaningful career awareness campaign at Nambashi High School, Kamjong district, aimed at guiding local students towards informed and aspirational career choices.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the initiative was part of Assam Rifles' sustained efforts to foster educational awareness and skill development among youth in remote regions.
Participants, including students and faculty members, attended the interactive session that focused on career pathways, scholarship opportunities, and educational schemes - particularly those offered by the Indian Armed Forces.
The campaign highlighted various avenues available to students, ranging from primary education support to higher studies, vocational training, and government-sponsored scholarship programs both within and beyond Manipur.
The session was designed to be engaging and informative, encouraging students to explore diverse career options and understand the value of structured planning for their future.
A dedicated segment of the event allowed students to raise questions and seek guidance on specific career-related concerns.
This open forum fostered a sense of trust and connection between the Assam Rifles personnel and the youth, reinforcing the force's commitment to nurturing talent and building bridges with local communities, said the IGAR (S) .
