Imphal, September 11 2026: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), Imphal Ladies Wing, conducted a Free Antenatal Check-up and Gynaecology Consultation Camp at Marwari Dharamshala, Thangal Bazar, on Friday.

The camp offered free antenatal check-ups, gynaecology consultations and ultrasound screening.

A team of specialists from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Shija Hospitals, including Dr Gyaneshwori L, Dr Dipenty L and Dr Keerti Chandra, Consultant Gynaecologists, provided consultations and medical guidance.

More than 80 women received consultations and ultrasound screening.

The consultations covered pregnancy-related concerns, infertility and common gynaecological conditions including polycystic ovary syndrome, vaginitis, urinary tract infections, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and fibroids.

The initiative aimed at promoting awareness, early detection of gynaecological conditions and encouraging timely medical care among women, organisers said.
