Flood relief efforts continue in Senapati

Senapati, June 11 2025: Extending helping hand to the Senapati denizens affected by the recent flood, East Praise International Community (EPIC) and KWF distributed relief materials on Wednesday at Poumai Baptist Church, Senapati new church building.

EPIC and KWF are a team of volunteers driven by a passion to serve and uplift communities through various social initiatives, including literacy programmes and to support the marginalised individuals.

The two organisations said they are deeply pained by suffering of families affected by the devastating flood in Senapati.

The two also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Poumai Baptist Church, Senapati, for generously providing their facilities to support their relief efforts; various donors and supporters who have contributed financially to help them purchase the relief materials and their dedicated volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make the initiative a success.

Although the distribution may not be sufficient to look after a family, the bodies shared their grief and pain to all the flood victims of the district.

The relief efforts include distribution of 25 kg of rice, one plate of egg, two kg dal, 1 kg salt, 1 kg sugar, half kg detergent and one dozen of one litre water bottles to each of the 100 flood affected families in the district.
