LPG safety awareness programme held

Imphal, June 02 2026: As part of its ongoing awareness and training initiatives across the State, All Gas Care (AGC) Manipur State conducted a one-day awareness cum training programme on the safe handling of LPG cylinders and fire safety measures at Nachou Bazar Mamang Community Hall in Bishnupur district on Tuesday.

Organised under the theme "How to Use, How To Care LPG Gas", the programme aimed to educate the public on the safe and responsible use of cooking gas and to enhance awareness of fire prevention and emergency response measures.

The programme was attended by Nachou GP, Ward no 3 member Nongmaithem Daina Devi, AGC Manipur State Manager Shagolshem Joyprakash, and AGC Manipur Field Assistant and noted artist Happy Rajen.

Prior to the commencement of the awareness programme.

Happy Rajen entertained the audience with his comedy routine.

This was followed by a detailed awareness session, conducted by AGC State Manager, S Joyprakash, who educated participants on proper safety procedures and guidelines to be followed while using LPG, along with practical demonstrations on handling fire incidents caused by cooking gas.
