Temple of Art & Culture Centre, Moirang marks 26th foundation day

Moirang, January 02 2026: The Temple of Art & Culture Centre, Moirang, established with the objective of promoting and preserving the rich and gradually fading art and culture of Manipur, celebrated its 26th foundation day on Thursday at its auditorium.

The programme organised by the Temple of Art & Culture Centre, Moirang, began with floral tributes paid to the late gurus and artists of the centre who had made invaluable contributions to the growth and preservation of Manipuri art and culture.

Sahitya Parishad awardee Oinam Kerani attended the celebration as chief guest; while radioapproved artist Thoudam Joy Singh presided over the function as functional president.

Sangeet Kala International awardee Akoijam Sobhachandra Singh graced the occasion as the guest of honour.

As part of the celebration, artists of the centre presented a series of cultural performances, including traditional songs and Nata Sankirtana, enthralling the gathering and reaffirming the centre's commitment to safeguarding Manipur's cultural heritage.
