'Khangminashi Eramdam Quiz' concludes; KM Blooming Hr Sec School bags top spot

Imphal, June 01 2026: The 13th State Level Khangminashi Eramdam Quiz Competition-2026, organised by Ethno Heritage Council, concluded yesterday with the final round held at Government Hindi Teachers' Training College, DM University.

The written preliminary round was held on May 24 at Millennium Institute of Science, Kwakeithel, and Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal, with 193 teams participating.

The top five teams competed in the final yesterday.

KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok, Thoubal, secured 1st position.

BM School of Excellent Learning, Hiyanglam, Kakching, and Paonam Pakaleima Public School, Kiyam Sangaithel Road, Imphal West, took 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Chingmeirong, and Paonam Pakaleima Public School secured 4th and 5th respectively.

Ten teams also received consolation prizes for high scores in the written round.

COHSEM Secretary Khundrakpam Ashikumar Singh was chief guest, HERICOUN president Y Surjitkumar Khuman presided, and Y Ibomcha Meetei attended as guest of honour.

HERICOUN thanked all supporters for the successful conduct of the quiz.
