Jiribam, May 28 2025: The Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) celebrated its 27th foundation day today at the office of Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL) .

The event was attended by Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) founder publicity secretary, Nameirakpam Budhachandra Singh, JDO president, Elangbam Dewan Singh, JDO founder general secretary, Dr S Arun Kumar Mangang, JDO founder vice-president, Dr Th Somorendra Singh, Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL) president, Longjam Bimola Devi, JDO founder advisor and Ex-Adhyaksha Jiribam, Kh Janaki Devi and JDO founder member and administrative committee Dibong Gram Panchayat, chairman Rk Nobinsana Singh as presidium members.

As part of the event, the dignitaries were honoured with Namphi shawl and the chief guest inaugurated the function by lighting the candle.

The gathering also observed a one-minute silence to pay respect to the late members of Jiri Development Organisation (JDO) .

The event concluded by presenting simple gifts to the journalists of Jiribam as encouragement for their service.
