Imphal, June 27 2025: Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Centre for Women and Girls Medical Department and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), organised a medical camp on June 24,2025 at Tengnoupal District, Manipur.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services, medical counselling, treatment and medicines to the local population, especially those with limited access to medical facilities.

A total of 108 villagers including 12 men, 55 women and 41 children received medical attention for general ailments.

This outreach program reflects the Assam Rifles' ongoing commitment to the welfare of local communities and highlights the importance of civil-military cooperation in addressing grassroots healthcare needs.
