AR engages students on drones, AI at Youth Summit

Imphal, July 26 2026: The 2nd edition of the D-16 Youth Summit 2026, themed "Empowering Youth for a Better Future", is underway at Manipur University.

Organised by Project Generation Foundation "Project G" in collaboration with Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU), the three-day summit from July 25-27 aims to promote leadership, discipline, and social and security awareness among youth.

Assam Rifles extended institutional support for the event.

Today, 150 participants including 130 school students and 20 teachers from across Manipur attended a special defence engagement session.

Assam Rifles personnel displayed service weapons and modem equipment, and explained their operational use.

They also delivered a presentation on the evolution of military hardware, indigenous manufacturing under Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and emerging areas like drone technology and artificial intelligence, along with career opportunities in the defence sector.

Students actively interacted with the team on national security and technological developments.

Faculty members lauded the collaboration between Assam Rifles, Project G and Manipur University for inspiring students towards nation-building through innovation and discipline.
