CRPF conducts voluntary blood donation camp

Imphal, September 24 2025:
As part of the nationwide mega voluntary blood donation Drive, 66 Battalion CRPF under the aegis of IGP, M&N Sector CRPF, organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal today.
Notably, CRPF has always been a front runner in initiatives of the Government of India for causes of national importance.
As per a release issued by CRPF, Anup Kumar Sahu, Commandant of 66 Battalion, CRPF took the initiative of organising the camp for the benefit of the people of Manipur.
A total of 17 brave jawans of the Force donated their blood during the camp.
Certificates and badges were also distributed to the jawans as a mark of encouragement and appreciation for their noble gesture.
Appreciating the efforts of the CRPF, Dr Pratima, Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS, stated that the blood donated today will save a lot of precious lives.
Anup Kumar Sahu lauded all the brave jawans and RIMS for helping in the noble cause.
Dr Rahul Jain, CMO, Sudhanshu, second in command, Ganesh, Adjutant and all staff of Transfusions Medicine Department RIMS, and 66 Battalion CRPF provided their support in making the camp a success.
