Imphal, November 23 2025: As part of its continuous efforts to reinforce relations between the Force and the local population, 158 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a Civic Action Programme at Khonshakul today.

The programme, headed by Sanjay Negi, Commandant, 158 Battalion CRPF, was conducted under the aegis of the Manipur Nagaland Sector CRPF.

It was attended by Achla Ram, Second-in-Command, Officer Commanding C/158 Battalion, village secretary, village chief, and villagers.

As per a release issued by CRPF, the event was aimed at promoting mutual trust and extending developmental support to the local community.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Negi emphasized that the CRPF not only plays a vital role in maintaining peace and security but also remains committed to the welfare and development of local communities.

He reiterated the Force's dedication to its motto- "Service and Loyalty".

As part of the event, 6 solar street lights and 25 solar lanterns were distributed to the needy villagers to enhance their safety and mobility after dark.
