Imphal, May 23 2026: A 1-day Fire Safety Mock Drill and Awareness Programme was held on Saturday at Phoubakchao High School, Mayang Imphal, under the theme "Safety and Security" .

The programme was conducted by Mayang Imphal Fire Service.

Headmaster Md Abdul Samad, senior teachers Phuritsabam Narendra and Buyamayum Md Abdul Hasim, and fire service officials attended as resource persons.

Students and teachers were given aw.areness on steps to prevent loss of life and property during fire incidents.

They were also trained on the proper use of fire extinguishers through live demonstrations.

The Headmaster thanked Manipur Fire Service officials for conducting the awareness programme, noting its importance for school safety.
