Imphal, May 18 2025: Thawaigee Thawai, a Manipuri feature film was released todayat the auditorium ofManipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Konung Mamang.

Andro AC MLA Thounaojam Shyamkumar and Ningombam Tomba attended the function as presidium members.

Notably, the film produced by N-KAMBT Studio is a cinematic version of Eramdam Manipur Artists Association's shumang leela titled "Thaiwaee Thawai".

The film features an ensemble cast, including Robindro Langthabal, Oken Thoudam, Khekman Deben, Sur Athokpam, Hiramoti Thongam, Geetchandra Chongtham, Arun, Nganba, Joshep, Dr Jotin and Bishesh.

The film is directed by Boji Ningombam and the story is written by Okram Kunjo.
