Moirang, November 16 2025: The 1st BYPA Cornerstone Rooting Competition 2025 (Spelling Competition) was organised today at Borayangbi Government Upper Primary School under Kumbi Assembly Constituency.

The competition was organised by the BYPA Club, the apex body of Borayangbi Apunba, as part of its Wisdom Nurturing & Upliftment Mission.

The competition featured two categories - Group A and Group B, and saw the participation of 205 students from 10 different institutes.

Speaking in this connection, BYPA general secretary Abdul Hasim stated that students from rural areas often miss exposure to competitive platforms at a young age.

He emphasized that such competitions aim to encourage students to participate in professional contests in the future, supporting their academic pursuits and building confidence for major competitions.

He further informed that the results of the competition will be announced on December 6 through print media and facebook, and the winners will be felicitated during BYPA's 7th foundation day celebration scheduled for February 7 .
