Capacity building workshop empowers indigenous women

Senapati, October 14 2025: Grassroot Shillong NGO, in collaboration with FIMI (International Indigenous Women's Forum) and Amyaa NGO organized a capacity building workshop on "Entrepreneurship Skills" for 59 women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) in Angkailongdi village, Senapati.

Saveinei Phomai, Project Lead from Amyaa, welcomed participants and outlined the workshop's aims and objectives.

Resource person Chaone, Cake Designer from Zerieh Food, Senapati, shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, emphasizing consistency, patience, and innovation.

She highlighted her journey of turning her baking hobby into a successful business during the lockdown, providing practical guidance to participants.

The interactive session encouraged participants to ask questions and clarify doubts, fostering a platform for learning and growth.
