Imphal, February 14 2026: The Saraswati Institute of Management & Para Medical Sciences celebrated its 10th Foundation Daytoday at the college campus in Nepali Basti, Pangei, Imphal East district.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha); Kshetrimayum Mani Singh, retired Executive Engineer, MOBEDS; Plus Phijam, Founder Chairman, Saraswati Institute of Management & Para Medical Sciences; Prof M Premjit Singh, Dean, Registrar, Manipur University; Prof S Jibonkumar Singh, Dean, School of Human & Environmental Science, MU; and Dr Dhanabir Laishram.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bimol Akoijam praised Manipuri individuals' contributions, especially in nursing, globally.

He also advised students to adapt to fit into the globalised world and prepare for international opportunities.
