Governor, speaker greet on Lui-Ngai-Ni

Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Manipur Legislative Assembly speaker Th Satyabrata Singh have extended greetings to the people of Manipur, particularly the Naga community, on the occasion of Lui-Ngai-Ni Festival, which falls on Saturday.
In his message, the Governor called the festival time of joy, gratitude, and prayers for a bountiful harvest.
"Rooted deeply in tradition, Lui-Ngai-Ni has become a symbol of unity, not only for the Nagas but also for the wider community, fostering bonds of peace, harmony, and inclusivity beyond cultural and religious lines" .
"Over the years, Lui-Ngai-Ni has evolved into a significant tourist festival, symbolising unity and shared cultural heritage.
As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us unite in a spirit of togetherness and mutual respect, praying for lasting peace, harmony, and progress for our beloved state and its people," he said.
The speaker also wished the people of Manipur, the Naga tribes in particular a bountiful year ahead.
