Jiribam, March 11 2026: Khaidem Bishal from Ramnagar in Cachar district of Assam has emerged as the winner of the prestigious North East India Supermodel Season 5, held in Gangtok, Sikkim, from February 23 to March 2 .

Displaying exceptional confidence, talent and a remarkable stage presence throughout the competition, Bishal outperformed contestants from across the North Eastern region to clinched the coveted crown during the grand finale held on March 2 .

As part of the winner's prize, Bishal received a cash award along with a Honda CB 200X motorcycle and an Atomy gift hamper.

The first runner-up was awarded a cash prize of Rs 30,000, while the second runner-up received Rs 20,000 .

The third runner-up was presented with Rs 10,000, with each of the runners-up also receiving Atomy gift hampers.

Speaking on the achievement, Bishal expressed gratitude to North East India Super Model CEO Revan Shillal and Manipur designer Arubam Suresh for their guidance and support.

He also stated that he aims to represent India and participate in various International modelling events in the future.

Khaidem Bishal is the son of Khaidem Brojomohon and Khaidem Ongbi Asharani.
