KBCC holds condolence meeting

Thoubal, February 09 2026: Khangabok Block Congress Committee (KBCC) convened a condolence meeting on Monday at Congress Bhavan, Wangbal, to mourn the untimely demise of Thangjam Kulachandra Singh, president of Samaram Village Polling no 35/27 under Khangabok AC.

The condolence meeting was jointly organised by the Khangabok Block Congress Committee (KBCC), KBMCC and AYCC .

It was attended by Dr Okram Micky, wife of O Surjakumar, MLA of Khangabok AC; along with KBCC president Th Ibomcha; social worker Laishram Subhash; and other party leaders and workers.

Speaking on the occasion, the speakers acknowledged the dedicated service, contribution and sacrifices made by the late Kulachandra Singh for the party, describing his demise as a great loss to the organisation.

They also shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family members.

During the meeting, party leaders and workers paid floral tributes to the portrait of the departed leader and observed two minutes of silence, praying for the eternal peace of his soul.
