S Lanleiba wins MHRPA painting competition

Imphal, November 02 2025: An Open Painting Competition on the theme, "Manipur Gave the World the Game of Polo: Save the Manipuri Pony" was held as a curtain raiser for the 15th Manipur Polo International, 2025 at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal Pologround today.

Altogether, 38 participants took part in the painting competition organised by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association (MHRPA).

Lanleiba Sinam of UNACCO won the 1st position in the painting competition while Lenison Rajkumar of Ushus School and Kelvin Elangbam of Pitambara secured the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

Angela Heikrujam, Ningomba Priscilla, Pheedam Sinam and Korou Khuman won the consolation prizes.

Moreover, Mission Transformation of Government Schools on Sunday successfully conducted the 4th State Level MTGS Competition in three districts- Imphal West, Bishnupur and Thoubal today.

Over 1694 students participated in the competition which was conducted exclusively for Government schools.

About 821 students participated in the competition held at DM College of Commerce (for Imphal West district), 326 students at Ningthoukhong Higher Secondary School (Bishnupur district) and 558 at Thoubal College (Thoubal district) .
