TNL hails AA talk outcome

The Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has expressed its appreciation to the Government of India and the Manipur Government that today's 'Alternative Arrangement' talks ended in a positive note.
TNL president Artax Shimray said the participation of the ministers in today's talks was a good development.
Artax Shimray then said urged New Delhi and the Government of Manipur to settle the 'Alternative Arrange,ment' at the earliest.
"We expect that the demand of the Nagas in Manipur should be settled soon," he stated.
Meanwhile, the TNL chief urged the Manipur Government to stop the police boundary altercation process immediately saying 60 Tangkhul villages have been affected by the State Government move.
Artax Shimray also urged the Manipur Government not to 'centralise' the centrally sponsored schemes.
"Processing of centrally sponsored schemes are done in the state capital Imphal only," alleged the Tangkhul Naga Long president.
