Slopeland College holds induction programme for newly admitted BEd students

Thoubal, July 30 2026: Slopeland College of Teachers' Education, Khongjom Salt Village, Thoubal district, organised an induction programme for the newly admitted B.Ed 2026-28 batch with the objective of helping students adapt to the academic environment, familiarise themselves with the institution's ethos and culture, and build meaningful relationships with peers and faculty members.

The programme was attended by Commandant of 46 Assam Rifles Col Shivendra Singh as chief guest, Slopeland College Principal Dr Nahakpam Babulin Meitei as functional president, and Chairman of the college and Head of the Physics Department, Thoubal College, Dr Nahakpam Ibobi Singh, IQAC Coordinator Nahakpam Chinglemba Meitei and Slopeland Trust member Esheeta Kangjam as guests of honour.

In his keynote address, Dr Babulin Meitei highlighted the importance of organising induction programmes and briefed the newly admitted students on the rules and policies of the institution.

Assistant Professors of the college also explained the rules and regulations and apprised the students of various academic and extracurricular activities.
