Imphal, January 30 2026: The 21st Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting ofKrishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Thoubal, was held today at the Farmers' Training Hall of the Directorate of Agriculture, Sanjenthong, Imphal.

The meeting was organised byKVK Thoubal in collaboration with the Agriculture Department and ICAR-AT ARI Zone 8, Umiam, Meghalaya.

It was attended by Agriculture Director Peter Salam; DEE, CAU Imphal, Deputy Director Professor Deepak Nath and ICAR, RC Manipur, Senior Scientist T Basanta, who were present as dais members.

The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing activities and formulating strategies to strengthen agricultural extension and farmer-oriented programmes in Thoubal district.
