NCC Imphal observes MSME Day

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Imphal today observed the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day with an insightful and motivational programme aimed at inspiring the youth towards self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
The event, held at the NCC Complex in Imphal, was marked by the presence of Dr Sinam Yoirentomba Meeitei, Deputy Director, MSME Technology Centre; Th Joykumar Singh, Managing Director, Thangjam Agro Industries Pvt Ltd and H Shubhra Devi, founder Meira Foods.
As per a release issued by 14 Manipur Bn NCC, the celebration was organised to align with the Nationwide observation of MSME Day, highlighting the vital role MSMEs play in economic growth, innovation, and employment generation.
The cadets were also provided with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the world of entrepreneurship and the dynamic landscape of small business development.
Speaking at the event, Brigadier KV Narsinha, Group Commander, NCC Group Imphal, emphasized the importance of inculcating entrepreneurial skills among the youth and encouraged cadets to view MSMEs as a viable and impactful career path.
The event concluded with NCC Song followed by the National Anthem.
