ANGEWAC, ALT organise career guidance seminar for students in Chandel

Chandel, May 27 2026: With the objective of guiding and helping students from the Anal community in choosing suitable career paths, the Anal Naga Government Employees Welfare Association, Chandel (ANGEWAC), on Wednesday organised a one-day career guidance seminar at Panchai Village Community Hall, Chandel.

The programme was organised in collaboration with the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi-General Headquarters (ALT-GHQ) and focused primarily on students studying in Classes X to XII as well as those who had recently cleared board and council examinations.

Renowned social scientist and professional career counsellor Dr Dhanabir Laishram attended the seminar as the resource person and delivered an insightfol session on the importance of time management and career choices.

Encouraging the students, he urged them to pursue their aspirations with sincerity and dedication.

During the interaction session, Dr Dhanabir advised the students to remain visionary and self-motivated, adding that obstacles are an inevitable part of life and overcoming them would ultimately lead to success.

Speaking earlier at the programme, ANGEWAC president Kl Arun said the main purpose of the seminar was to guide studerits in shaping their careers and future.

He observed that the professional landscape is evolving rapidly and proper guidance is essential for students to identify the right opportunities amidst growing challenges.

Moderated by Kt Zechariah Anal, general secretary of ALT, the seminar witnessed participation from over 400 students.
