LIC conducts insurance awareness activity

Guwahati, December 26 2025: As part of its outreach and promotional efforts, the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India conducted an "Insurance Awareness Mobile Van Activity" at Guwahati on December 26, 2025.The activity was jointly inaugurated by Saumitra Kumar DE, Regional Manager, Kolkata and AK Bhuyan, Senior Divisional Manager, Guwahati.

The activity was organised by Mukut Mali, Manager(Sales), said a release.

Notably, Sabka Bima, Sabki Raksha, 2025, is a significant milestone in India's insurance penetration and strengthens policyholders protection across the country.

Insurance is a vital pillar of Indian economy and social security.

This reform is positioned as a crucial step towards "Insurance for all by 2047".Now, waiver of GST on all individual insurance policies has brought significant relief to policyholders across the country.
