Anti-drug awareness programmes conducted

Imphal, August 25 2025: In continuation of its relentless campaign against the drugs & substance abuse, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) conducted awareness programmes at Sanjenbam Khullen, Imphal East district and Sagolband Khamnam Leirak, Imphal West districttoday.

The awareness programmes were held on the topic, "Ill-effects of illicit substances and people's responsibility in curbing their abuse" .

As per a release issued by CADA, the programme held at Sanjenbam Khullen was organised in collaboration with Sanjenbam Khullen Village Development Authority.

It was attended by CADA president Hijam Priyokumar, SADA Club joint secretary Meisnam Kiranjit, Women Welfare Association Sanjenbam Khullen president Ngairangbam Meme Devi and Sanjenbam Khullen Village Development Authority secretary Takhellambam Uttamkumar Singh as presidium members.

CADA vice president Ningthoujam Doren and CADA Imphal East District Committee vice president Nongthombam Medha Leima also attended the programme as resource persons.

Also, the programme held at Sagolband Khamnam Leirak was attended by CADA secretary organisation Mayengbam Budhi, Khamnam Leirak Apunba Meira Paibi advisors Abujam Memi and Soibam Nungshitombi as presidium members.

CADA secretary general Takhellambam Geetchandra Meetei was the resource person of the programme.
