Indian Army organises National Tourism Day visit for youth at INA Museum and INA Headquarters

On the occasion ofNational Tourism Day, the Red Shield Division under Spear Corps of the Indian Army organised an educational and heritage visit for the youth of Manipur on Sunday at the INA Museum and INA Headquarters, Moirang, Manipur.
As per a release issued by the Indian Army, a total of 100 youths participated in the programme, comprising students from L Dhananjoy Memorial English School, Thanga High School and Moirang College, along with local children from Moirang.
The visit aimed to familiarise the youth with the historic significance of the Indian National Army (INA) and the pivotal role played by Moirang as the headquarters of the INA during India's freedom struggle.
Participants were briefed on the legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the INA movement, and the historical importance of the INA Headquarters and Museum.
The initiative also sought to promote heritage tourism, national integration and historical awareness among the younger generation.
Such engagements reflect the Indian Army's continued commitment to nationbuilding, fostering pride in Manipur's rich historical and cultural legacy while encouraging youth engagement with the country's freedom movement.
