Thoubal, July 24 2025: The inaugural Induction-cum-BEd Inauguration programme of Ruda Academy, Thoubal, which is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and granted affiliation under Manipur University on April 10, was inaugurated by MU College Development Council director professor Dr Hanjabam Sukhdeba Sharma at the Academy on Thursday.

The programme was attended by Dr Sukhdeba as chief guest and Academy advisor Lisham Ibochou as president, while Manipur University of Culture librarian Dr Thounaojam Khomdom Singh, MU Department of Education head professor Dr Keisham Shitaljit and Academy's founder secretary Elangbam Sachi were the guests of honour.

Delivering the keynote address, principal E Romeo stated that Ruda Academy has been endeavouring to facilitate BEd course since 2016 with the objective realised on April 10, when MU approved opening of the course.

The induction-cum-inaugural function was also participated by the first batch of 100 students enrolled for the BEd programme.
