PNNM to hold 8th General Conference; appeals for bandh-free observance

Senapati, February 24 2026: The Poumai Naga Naotumai Me (PNNM), also known as the Poumai Naga Women Union is set to organise its 8th General Conference from February 26 to 28 under the theme, "Ignite Your Sparkle" .

The conference will be hosted by Joshila Sharma, w/o Th Radheshyam Singh, MLA of 33-Heirok Assembly Constituency, as the chief host.

The inaugural session on February 26 will be graced by Losii Dikho, Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur as the chief guest, Th Biswajit Singh, MLA of 5-Thongju AC, will attend as guest of honour, while J Kumo Sha, MLA of 47-Karong AC, will serve as the functional president.

RB Pani, President of Poumai Naga Union will be the Presiding Officer and Dr Matte Siba will attend as the resource person.

The cultural session on February 27 will be graced by Temjen Imna Along, Minister for Tourism & Hr Education, Govt of Nagaland as the chief guest, Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, MLA of 9-Kohima Town AC, Nagaland, will attended as the guest of honour, and Mamoni Doley, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Senapati will be present as special guest.

The musical night will be attended by M Sheveine, MCS, SDO/BDO of Paomata, and S Tryphena Reikhenamai, MPS, SDPO of Bishnupur as the special guest.

Senapati District Superintendent of Police, Shakh Mohd Zaib, IPS will grace the Mrs Poumai pageant as special guest on the night of February 27.In connection with the event, PNNM has earnestly appealed to all individuals, organisations, stakeholders and parties to refrain from calling any form of bandh, blockade or agitation during the conference dates to ensure a smooth and peaceful conduct of the program.
