Free health camp benefits over 600 people in Thoubal

Thoubal, September 22 2025: A free health camp was organised today at the Community Hall of Thoubal Melaground under the initiative of former Chief Minister of Manipur and Thoubal Assembly Constituency MLA, Okram Ibobi Singh, in collaboration with Malem Purel Manipur, Imphal.

The health camp saw the participation of ten doctors, including specialists in medicine, gynaecology, surgery, paediatrics, and dermatology.

More than 600 people from Thoubal and neighbouring areas received free medical consultations and medicines.

Speaking in this connection, MLA of Khangabok AC and son of Okram Ibobi.

O Surjakumar.

said that the health camp was organised in response to the hardships faced by the flood-affected people.

He further assured that such similar camps will continue to be held across Thoubal AC and Khangabok AC to ensure access to medical care for all.

He also extended gratitude to the doctors, medical staff, and volunteers of Malem Purel Manipur for their efforts in making the health camp a success.
