Imphal, October 20 2025: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Manipur has informed the public that there will be no water supply in the areas under the jurisdiction of Old Thumbuthong WTP until the repair work of 250 KVA Transformer at Old Thumbuthong WTP is completed.

During the repairing work, normal water supply will be affected in Takhelkhong North & South, Puritmayum Leirak, Hidangmayum Leirak, Geeta Thibam Leirak, Lalji Lakpa, Guru Leirak, Lakpam Leirak, Drasmalaya Club Thagapat Mapal, Mahabali Leirak, Mahabali Khun, Palace Compound, Guru Aribam Maning and Mamang Leirak, Harikhagok Makhong, Advance Hospital Road, Kunung Leikai, Heijingang Makhong and Chungkham Leikai areas.

The PHED also requested the affected consumers to kindly bear with the Department for any inconvenience caused as the works are being taken up in the larger interest of the public.
