Athletic Meet of SSI concludes

Imphal, December 18 2025: In another milestone in the history of Sainik School Imphal (SSI), the 49th Annual Athletic Meet of the school culminated with great fervour and fanfare.

The closing ceremony of the sports meet was graced by Padmashree Nameirakpam Kunjarai Devi, Commandant CRPF, Langjing, a legendary figure in the world of weightlifting as the chief guest.

Peter Salam, Director, Department of Agriculture and Inspector CDO, Imphal West, S Sarjubala Devi were also present at the event as special invitees.

As per a release issued by SSI, after various field and track events, the cadets showcased enthralling physical displays such as Mass PT, Aerobics, Gymnastics & Zumba performance.

The performances resonated with the hard physical training put in by the cadets.

N Kunjarani Devi distributed prizes to the winning cadets and teams.

In her address, Kunjarani Devi expressed that the key to success is to remain physically fit and mentally robust.

She also advised the cadets to be consistent in their efforts and pursue their dreams with passion.

Principal Lt Col Satish Kumar Singh expressed his profound gratitude to the dignitaries for their valuable time and inspiring presence.

He also appreciated the cadets for their enthusiastic and spirited participation and extended gratitude to all the staff, guests, parents and media persons for making the occasion a grand success.
