Samajwadi Party sounds call for vigilance ahead of 2027 Polls

The Samajwadi Party declared the 2027 General Election pivotal for Manipur's future, urging voters to prioritize the State's interests over monetary inducements and stay vigilant.
The call came during the 92nd birth anniversary observance of party leader Kanshi Ram at the party's temporary Konthoujam office on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Manipur Samajwadi Party president Konthoujam Bishorjit emphasized the party's commitment to uplifting Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and minorities, asserting public awareness of beneficial political forces.
He vowed to sideline forces detrimental to Manipur's progress, pledging unwavering support for the people's aspirations.
The event saw two new appointments: Manju Gurumayum as state secretary and L Nonibala Devi as state executive member.
