MNYO elects new office bearers

Imphal, September 13 2026: In a major organisational overhaul, the Manipur Naga Youth Organisation has restructured and strengthened its organisation in view of the challenging times facing Naga society.

The decision was taken at its General Meeting, where new office bearers were unanimously elected.

Worthington Mahung has been elected as president, Poudinlung Riamei as vice president (Administration), Lansinngam Kahmei as general secretary, and Hanyao Gachui as vice president (Finance in-charge).

Ningreingam Kashung and Khawungsing Ronra were appointed as advisors, in addition to the existing advisors, to provide guidance to the organisation.

Johnson Gaithaudai Gonmei was appointed as president of the Imphal Valley Unit.

AS Ningpem was appointed as assistant media and publicity secretary, Catherine Soyam as secretary, Women Wing, and Sinalei Hungyo as office secretary.
