BSF conducts health camp

A dedicated medical team from the Border Security Force (BSF) Sector Headquarter Cl (Ops) Imphal, Manipur under the able guidance ofRavi Kant, IG BSF, Mizoram & Cachar Frontier and supervision of DIG, SHQ CI(Ops) Manipur, successfully organised a comprehensive medical check-up camp at Kendriya Vidyalaya School in Lamphel, Imphal.
The initiative catered to approximately 2000 students, emphasizing the Force's commitment to the health and well-being of the Nation's youth.
As per a release issued by BSF, the medical camp focused on providing thorough health screenings for the students.
Each student underwent checks for key health indicators including height, weight, and examinations of the eyes, ears, and throat.
The BSF doctors also screened for any signs of acute and chronic diseases to ensure early identification and promote timely medical intervention.
The initiative was rooted in the belief that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.
"Our goal is to ensure that every child is healthy and can pursue the education without the hindrance of medical issues", said Dr Pran Kumar Prem, Chief Medical Officer of BSF Manipur.
"By investing in the health of these young students, we are investing in the future of our country", he added.
The school management expressed its gratitude to the BSF medical team for their proactive and benevolent service.
