Moirang, September 12 2025: Under the initiative of the Manipur State Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bishnupur, in collaboration with the Legal Aid Club Project "G", organised a one-day legal awareness programme today at St John High School, Nambol.

The programme was graced by District & Sessions Judge Bishnupur cum Chairman of DLSA Bishnupur, Samom Ibjen as chief guest; Legal Aid Club Project "G" Board Committee member, Longjam Samson as functional president; and CJM-CJSD cum secretary of DLSA Bishnupur, Bineshwori Maibam; JMFC/Civil Judge Jr Division Bishnupur Rajshree Yambem; Panel Lawyer DLSA Bishnupur Th Hemchandra Meitei; and vice-principal of St John English High School, Meitankeishangbam Gopendro as guests of honour.

Panel Lawyer of DLSA Bishnupur, Th Hemchandra Meitei and Board Committee member of Legal Aid Club Project "G", Longjam Samson delivered talks on the POCSO Act, JJ Act, CMP Act and basic legal child rights as resource persons.

Later, a spot quiz competition was also conducted for the students, and the winners were felicitated with prizes as encouragement.
