Imphal, October 11 2025: The Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has informed all the the consumers under the jurisdiction of Kwakeithel Subdivision-II, MSPDCL to install their electricity meters in the exterior portion of their building instead of keeping indoor for easy access and inspection by MSPDCL officials.

As per a release issued by MSPDCL, the measure is taken to ensure smooth meter reading, maintenance and verification work, thereby promoting transparency and better service delivery to consumers.

Postpaid consumers are also requested to pay their outstanding electricity bills on time to avoid disconnection of supply and late payments surcharges.

Further, all consumers are strictly advised to refrain from any sort of illegal use of electricity.

If found indulging in any such act, heavy penalties will be imposed and strict action will be taken up as per governing rules and regulations.
