Thoubal, September 11 2026: In connection with the ongoing Lamyanba Hijam Irabot birth anniversary observation month, a social service cum awareness camp was held today at MMRC and Unity Park organised by Team Dr Romenkumar (TDR) Khangabok.

The programme was held on the theme that a society will develop when discipline is among the elderly and the youths.

Paying floral tributes to the portrait of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot marked the commencement of the programme.

As a part of the programme, Dr Romenkumar Khundrakpam presented gifts to the elderly people of Khangabok and sought their blessings.

Former BJP candidate of Khangabok Assembly Constituency Khundrakpam Menjor Mangang and few elderly people of Khangabok AC graced as the presidium members of today's programme.

A large number of members of TDR Youth and Parents wing attended today's programme.

Speaking at the programme, Dr Romenkumar, founder of TDR hailed the selfless contributions of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot for the welfare of the people and society at large.

He assured to work selflessly in line with Lamyanba Hijam Irabot's dream of an egalitarian society and pledged to bring a change in Khangabok in terms of development.
