Imphal, April 11 2026: The Assam Rifles successfully concluded a 12-day intensive study camp aimed at preparing local youth for the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) entrance examinations.

The initiative, held at Church Hill, Singhat, provided a rigorous academic and physical framework for 12 motivated candidates from the NexGen Defence Academy.

Organised by the Khuga-based Assam Rifles unit, the programme was designed to channel the energy of local youth towards constructive career paths, offering a viable alternative to prevailing regional challenges, said a release.

The camp concluded on April 9, just days before the UPSC examinations scheduled for April 12 .
