'Hunger Free Week' concludes

Imphal, January 11 2026:
"Hunger Free Week", the significant initiative of the Lions International District 322D came to an end today at Khwairamband Keithel.
Leaders and members of Lions International District 322D came together in the spirit of service, compassion, and humanity to conclude the meaningful week dedicated to fighting hunger.
During the week-long event, nutritious meals were served to over 10,000 people in the State.
Today, breakfast were served to the women vendors of Khwairamband Keithel (Nagamapal side).
The closing function was graced by Lions International District 322D district governor Lalit Kumar Kothari, immediate past district governor Th Kesho and district chairperson L Upendra Sharma among others.
Notably, Hunger Free Week was launched at Samurou High School Relief Camp, Imphal West on January 3 to ensure food security and provide hope & dignity to those experiencing food insecurity.
Hunger Relief is one of the three service initiatives for the year 2025-2026 besides Mental Health & Well Being and Environment as initiated by the international president AP Singh.
