Holistic career guidance programme held at Thoubal

Thoubal, May 10 2026: A holistic career guidance programme for students was organised on Saturday at the DLCYC Hall, Thoubal Athokpam by the District Library cum Youth Centre (DLCYC), Thoubal Athokpam.

The programme was conducted with the objective of guiding students appearing for Class X and XII examinations regarding academic and professional career opportunities.

Career guidance stalls were also opened as part of the event to provide information and counselling to students.

The programme was attended by DLCYC vice-president Dr Th Priyokumar Singh, founder of Shine Career Manipur Kshetrimayum Tony Singh, and Assistant Professor of Thoubal College and ITBP Commandant Mohd Noor Safi Ahmed Khan as presidium members.

During the programme, Kshetrimayum Tony Singh and Assistant Professor Mohd Noor Safi Ahmed Khan delivered detailed lectures and interacted with students on the various academic streams, career options and professional pathways available after clearing Class X and XII examinations.

They also advised students to choose careers based on their interests, skills and long-term goals while stressing the importance of proper planning, discipline and dedication in achieving success.
