Sainik School Imphal celebrates Teachers' Day

Imphal, September 05 2025: Sainik School Imphal celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm and reverence to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an eminent philosopher, teacher and former President of India.

The event was graced by distinguished alumni, Squadron Leader Rizwan Malik, Vir Chakra and Rajkumar Mayanglambam, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West.

As per a release issued by Sainik School Imphal, Squadron Leader Rizwan Mallik, an ex-cadet of the school, was recently conferred the prestigious Vir Chakra by the President on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day for his exemplary bravery during Operation Sindoor.

During the event, both esteemed guests paid tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday marks the celebration of Teachers' Day across the country.

They interacted with the cadets, sharing insights from their journeys and encouraging them to remain focused, work hard, and pursue their dreams with dedication and determination.

Officiating Principal Lt Col Satish Kumar Singh felicitated the guests and lauded their contributions in their respective fields.

He expressed pride in their achievements and emphasized how their success stories continue to inspire the cadets and uphold the glorious legacy of Sainik School Imphal.
