Imphal, November 03 2025: A voluntary blood donation camp was held today at the Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS Imphal, under the initiative of Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur and Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Bishnupur District Branch president Pooja Elangbam; and chairman Dr Wahengbam Gulapi Singh.

The camp was jointly organised by the Indian Red Cross Society Bishnupur District Branch in collaboration with Chhayatap Foundation, New Life Foundation Manipur Peoples' Resource Development Association Bishnupur, Department of Transfusion Medicine RIMS Imphal, State Blood Transfusion Council Manipur, Manipur State AIDS Control Society, and National Health Mission.

During the camp, 2 women donors along with Committee member Khwairakpam Khogendro voluntarily donated their blood.
