LPG safety awareness programme held

Thoubal, May 03 2026: An awareness cum training programme for LPG consumers on safe handling of LPG cylinders and fire safety measures was conducted on Sunday at Idiga Community Hall, Sangaiyumpham in Thoubal district.

The programme was jointly organised by Hingbagi Mangai Village Level Federation (VLF) and Chaokhat Lup Village Level Federation (VLF), Wangbal, in collaboration with All Gas Care (AGC), Manipur State.

Notable dignitaries present include AGC Manipur State Manager Shagolshem Joyprakash and AGC Field Assistant and renowned artist Happy Rajen.

Prior to the commencement of the awareness programme, Happy Rajen entertained the audience with his comedy routine.

This was followed by a detailed awareness session, conducted by AGC State Manager, S Joyprakash, who educated participants on proper safety procedures and guidelines to be followed while using LPG, along with practical demonstrations on handling fire incidents caused by cooking gas.
