GP Women's College bids farewell to two teachers

Imphal, March 31 2026: Students and teachers of GP Women's College bade farewell to two longstanding teachers of the College during a ceremony organised by the Teachers' Forum GP Women's College, Imphal Dhanamanjuri University (South Campus).

Held at the Library Hall of the College, the ceremony bade farewell to Dr M Bidyasagar, former Head, Department of Physics and Professor Dr H Sumatibala, former Head, Manipuri Department.

The event was graced by Professor Longjam Rajen, Principal, GP Women's College; Dr Konthoujam Indrakumar, general secretary, Teachers' Forum GP Women's College and Associate Professor, Political Science Department and Forum members.

While Professor Dr H Sumatibala retired in February of this year, Dr M Bidyasagar retired today, March 31.Speakers at the event noted the contributions of the two teachers throughout their career and wished them a life of prosperity, free from illnesses and strife.
