Many mourn demise of Prof Kh Jugindro Singh

The teaching and non-teaching staff along with the Students' Union of YK College mourned the sudden demise of the college Principal, Professor Khundrakpam Jugindro Singh of Khangabok Part-II Maisnam Leikai, who passed away on Tuesday night following a brief illness.
As a mark of respect, classes at the college were suspended on Wednesday and a condolence meeting was held at the college seminar hall.
During the programme, teachers, students and staff members offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late professor and observed a two-minute silence while praying for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Speakers at the meeting recalled the life and contributions of Prof Kh Jugindro Singh, particularly his dedicated efforts towards the upliftment and development of YK College and the welfare of the student community.
The gathering also shared condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, the Thoubal College Teachers' Association also condoled the demise of Prof Kh Jugindro Singh, who had earlier served as the Head of the Geography Department of Thoubal College.
Teachers and students of Thoubal College observed a two-minute silence in his memory and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul while extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
In another condolence programme, the governing body, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students of New Public Higher Secondary School, Khangabok also mourned the demise of Prof Kh Jugindro Singh.
Remembering his long association with the institution as secretary of the school governing body for over two decades, members of the school community observed a two-minute silence and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
