Imphal, August 25 2025: The Department of Horticulture& Soil Conservation, Government of Manipur, has informed all concerned that counselling for the selection of 18 candidates as State Sponsored Nominees to pursue 4-year B Sc (Hons) Horticulture Course at various colleges under Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal will be held at the Directorate of Horticulture & Soil Conservation in Sanjenthong on August 27 at 11 am.

As per a release issued by the department, the counselling will be conducted strictly on the basis of the overall combined merit list.

All the candidates must register by 10:30 am on the day of counselling.

They are required to produce the original documents submitted during the application process at the time of counselling.

Under exceptional circumstances, in view of the prevailing law-and-order situation in the State, candidates who are unable to attend in person may participate via video conferencing from their respective District Office, H&SC.

Failure to attend the counselling session either in person or via video conferencing will result in forfeiture of the candidate's claim to any available seat.

Candidates are also advised to remain in regular contact with the Directorate and check the department's official website-"www.horticulture.mn.gov.in" for any further updates.
